In hour 2 we are treated to more of a session than a mix from Archie Pelago, as they perform brand new tunes live exclusively for Solid Steel. A firm favourite with Coldcut, we’ve featured both their music and remixes on the show before. It’s a gentle start for the New York based trio with ‘House of Haab’ and a steady rise throughout the mix to a frenzied conclusion with ‘Lakeside Obelisk’ showcasing their talents combining live instruments with electronics.
